What Happens on a Film Day?

If you’re recording in our studio, your job’s pretty simple. Coordinate with us on the start time and we’ll have everything prepped before you arrive. If we’re going to your location, it is a little different, but we’ll walk you through the process. First, we’ll check-in, we’ll come in with our gear and kind of scope out the area, find the best locations to film for your video. We’ll be prepping the gear and the background, so we might have to move a couple objects to make it look best on camera, but don’t worry, we’ll put ’em all back. Then we’ll bring in talent or interview subjects and start filming. When we’re all done, we’ll of course have to tear down and get B-roll that’s relatable to your video subject at that location. Keep in mind, if you have multiple locations, we’ll have to do the same thing, arrive, scope, set-up, film and tear down. So if you’re nervous about your budget or about the scheduling process, we can try to work with you to keep any on-camera segments at a single location if possible. Don’t worry, we’ll walk you through the whole process. And part of pre-production, again, is making sure we have the right schedule for the right day and your type of video.
